Joe Lepore, a long time resident of upcountry Maui, is a fierce defender for the individual in the battle over the family court’s crushing agenda against families and children. “Adjudication of the law without equanimity is no justice; it is social and political vengeance. It’s like replacing one form of racism with another form of racism.”

Like the other freedom fighters in the FCLU, Mr. Lepore is a strong advocate for parents, children and overall family civil rights. Mr. Lepore has witnessed the unjust and ludicrous court issued decisions that have utterly ruined numerous friends and relatives for the benefit of matrimonial lawyers and the family court system.

Mr. Lepore is considered a local conduit for directing people to the right resources. With strong organizing talents, Mr. Lepore is an invaluable addition to the FCLU in Hawaii. We welcome Mr. Lepore to the FCLU.
